Machine Operator, Mandan, ND

Responsible for operating machines as directed by the supervisor.



Essential Position Requirements:
·    Follow directions on machine operation. ·    Operate various machines such as the plasma torch, oxy-acetylene torch, shear, beveling machine, press brake, beamline, ironworker, wheel-a-brator, and drill press.Other duties as assigned

Education & Work Experience:
·    High School Diploma or GED.

Knowledge & Skills:
·    Ability to read prints and a tape measure. ·    Ability to follow verbal directions. ·    Basic mechanical knowledge preferred. ·    Ability to do your job as quickly and accurately as possible while following all safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

·    Requires prolonged standing, bending, stopping and stretching. ·    Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate welding and other shop equipment. ·    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
